Okay, I admit that Xover is kinda bad, but this is takeing it alittle too far. Guys, don’t watch the damn video if you hate it so much.
OOC: Okay, what the shit. Only 122 likes and that many dislikes. I may not be that keen on the idea for a Mega Man game on iOS, and I’m confused about the plot itself, but really? That much hate?
“DON’T WATCH IT IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT!”
There is a subtle implication that, after the last IOS game that featured the ability to BUY YOUR WAY THROUGH THE GAME (not even kidding), this is of a similar calibre. Not just that, but the way in which these things are targeted to shift blame of expectation. And the lack of any meaningful gameplay because of the way that IOS games control because touchscreen is not a viable or pleasant control scheme for platforming action games.
“Oh, the Megaman game on the Apple Store sold badly. This must mean nobody wants any more Megaman!”
The internet, I hope, is one of those things that doesn’t forget the way in which Capcom hinted that, with Megaman Legends 3;
“You need to fucking make our game. It doesn’t matter if Megaman has millions of fans and you just shitcanned one of the most anticipated games in the franchise because of poor (now not so poor) 3DS sales. It’s all your fault that this game isn’t being made. Never mind the art contests and the consumer demand. Let’s can the Megaman/Capcom Universe game too!”
Just a step too far and the internet, with all its glorious mob mentality, has had enough.
yeah okay but the problem with this is Inafune left Capcom. You know; Inafune the director of the Mega Man series? It’s a little difficult to make a new entry in a series without the director responsible for said series.
Oh, so that’s why it’s become their cashcow for merchandise and horrible ports.
Excuse me.
“They don’t make new Mega Man games because Inafune left!”
No, Inafune left because they were already treating him and his series like shit, just like they’ve treating all of their other creators.

I mean, with company policies like “Get over your petty little heart attack that we kinda caused”, who wouldn’t want to work for Capcom?
I actually wasn’t aware of the situations regarding Inafune’s departure. Given these circumstances I’m not surprised he left. That being said god dammit Capcom stop.
